We give children a welcoming place to find their voice, use their imagination, try new things and experience the confidence that comes from belonging.
Because not every child wants to become a performer. But every child deserves the opportunity to feel confident being themselves.

Stage & Story Co. was created from a simple belief: confidence is something we can help children build.
Through drama, storytelling and performance, we create a space where children can use their imagination, find their voice, try something new and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
Because while we love the magic of the stage, what happens beyond it matters even more.
The confidence to speak up. The creativity to think differently. The courage to have a go. The ability to connect with others and feel comfortable being themselves.
Our programs are designed for children and young people from 5 years+, with a pathway that grows with them from Little Stars through to Young Performers, Ensemble and Studio.
There’s no expectation that every child wants to become a performer. Stage & Story Co. is about using the performing arts to develop the confidence, creativity and connection that children can carry with them into school, friendships and whatever comes next.
The performance may end. The confidence stays.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Jess, founder of Stage & Story Co.
Drama and performance have been part of my life since I was young. I trained and performed as an actor and dancer throughout my childhood and teenage years, and later built a career that has kept communication, presenting, creativity and connecting with people at its heart.
I’ve experienced firsthand what performing can give a young person beyond the stage: the confidence to speak up, the courage to try, the ability to connect with others and the freedom to express who they are.
I’m also a mum of two, and becoming a parent gave me a new appreciation for just how important those skills are. I wanted to create the kind of space I would choose for my own children: warm and encouraging, but with real purpose behind what they’re learning.
In 2026, I completed my MBA, which gave me the tools to turn that vision into Stage & Story Co. and build a business with a clear purpose: helping children develop confidence, creativity and connection through drama, storytelling and performance.
For me, this isn’t about creating the next generation of actors. It’s about giving children the confidence, creativity and communication skills they can carry with them wherever life leads.
The performance ends. The confidence stays.
